In 1982, Grandpa Jan opened the doors of a small bakery along the Amsterdam canals. He had one dream: baking honest bread that makes the neighborhood happy. With flour from the local miller and recipes from his own grandmother, he started every morning at four o'clock.
That dedication runs in our blood. Today, we're still in the bakery before sunrise. We knead, fold and bake with the same love as back then — but now with the promise that everything is 100% organic.
Amsterdam is our home. We know our customers by name. We know who loves the sourdough and who picks up an apple pie every Saturday. That's what makes us special: we're not a shop, we're family.
